About DebriefCore
What is DebriefCore?
DebriefCore is a human-reviewed knowledge capture platform for skilled teams. It helps you capture lessons from real work, turn them into structured drafts, review and approve them, and preserve them for future jobs, training, handoffs, and operations.
Who is DebriefCore for?
Teams where experience matters: skilled trades, field operations, aviation training, maintenance, safety teams, technical operations, instructors, mentors, and crew-based organizations.
What problem does DebriefCore solve?
Most expert knowledge is trapped in conversations, text messages, field notes, memories, and after-action lessons. DebriefCore captures that knowledge before it disappears and turns it into organized, reviewable records.
Is DebriefCore just another AI chatbot?
No. DebriefCore isn't built to replace experts — it's built to preserve their knowledge. AI helps create structured drafts, but nothing becomes official until a qualified human reviews and approves it.
What does “human-reviewed knowledge capture” mean?
AI can help organize and draft the information, but a person with the right experience must review and approve it before it becomes part of your approved knowledge base.
How it works & features
How does DebriefCore work?
Capture → Generate Draft → Review → Approve → Preserve → Reuse. A team member captures a lesson from the field, DebriefCore structures it into a draft, and a qualified reviewer approves it before it becomes part of the knowledge base.
What can users capture?
Field lessons, training notes, maintenance observations, safety lessons, instructor debriefs, crew handoffs, technical troubleshooting steps, and job-specific knowledge.
Can DebriefCore capture voice notes?
Yes. Voice capture with transcription lets people speak through what happened instead of typing it all manually. (Transcription is automated and may misrecognize words — review the text before relying on it.)
Can users upload photos, and are they analyzed by AI?
You can attach reference photos to support the record and help the reviewer with context. Reference photos are for review only — they are not sent to any AI model.
Is my voice recording stored?
No. Voice notes are transcribed to text and the audio is not stored, and the audio is never fed into the AI generation prompt.
What are Debrief Rooms?
Structured capture modes designed for different kinds of knowledge — for example Mentor, Instructor, Maintenance, Crew, and Safety workflows.
What is the Review Center?
Where AI-generated drafts wait for human review. A reviewer can edit, approve, or reject a draft before it becomes official knowledge.
What is the Knowledge Base?
Where approved records are stored so your team can search, reference, and reuse the lessons later.
What are Context Packs?
Curated groups of approved knowledge assembled for a specific role, job, training scenario, handoff, or operational need.
AI & human review
Does the AI approve the knowledge?
No. AI only helps draft and organize the information. Approval belongs to a qualified human reviewer — there is no auto-approval anywhere in the product. AI drafts. Humans approve.
Can AI make mistakes or produce incorrect output?
Any AI system can produce incorrect or incomplete output. DebriefCore reduces that risk by keeping AI output in draft status and requiring human review and approval before anything is trusted.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
A general chatbot can help write or summarize, but DebriefCore gives teams a structured workflow: capture forms, review status, approval controls, an organization knowledge base, context packs, and repeatable processes — with accountability built in.
Is DebriefCore replacing trainers, instructors, or senior technicians?
No — it supports them. It preserves what experienced people know so teams can train faster and avoid repeating mistakes. The expert stays the final authority.
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Is DebriefCore bilingual?
Yes — end to end. A Spanish-speaking team member can capture a lesson in Spanish, and an English-speaking manager, specialist, or instructor can review and approve it in English (and vice versa). Knowledge stops getting trapped by language.
Which languages are supported?
English and Spanish. We focus on doing those two genuinely well for real field teams rather than claiming to support every language.
Pricing, trial & billing
Is there a free plan?
No. DebriefCore doesn't offer a free plan — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial so you can try it risk-free.
Is there a free trial, and when does it start?
Yes — a 14-day trial on paid plans. The trial starts after you complete secure checkout, not when you simply create an account or confirm your email.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
Yes. The trial begins through secure Stripe checkout. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
Can I access the dashboard without starting a trial?
No. New users need an active Stripe trial or subscription to access the workspace — email confirmation and login alone don't grant access. (The only exception is the platform owner/admin account.)
What happens after the trial ends, and can I cancel?
After the trial, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before it ends — and you can cancel anytime from the billing portal.
Who handles payment?
Payments and billing run securely through Stripe. DebriefCore does not store your card details.
What plans are available?
Pro for solo professionals and small operators ($39/mo or $390/yr), Team for small teams of up to 5 ($149/mo or $1,490/yr), and Business for larger organizations needing custom onboarding, higher-volume workflows, or multi-location support.
Security, privacy & data
Is my data secure, and can other organizations see it?
Your workspace is isolated per organization at the database level (row-level security), so another organization can't see your data. Production credentials and payments are handled through secure providers (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe).
Does DebriefCore use role-based access?
Yes — organization roles such as members and admins. Admin controls govern organization access, review workflows, and billing.
Is DebriefCore SOC 2 certified or HIPAA compliant?
No. DebriefCore is not SOC 2 audited and is not marketed as a HIPAA-compliant healthcare platform. We build with security and compliance readiness in mind, but we won't claim a certification we don't hold.
Can I use DebriefCore for regulated industries or sensitive data?
DebriefCore is designed for high-skill, safety-conscious workflows, but you should evaluate your own compliance requirements first. Please don't submit regulated data (PHI, payment-card data, ITAR/controlled, or classified) unless separately agreed with us in writing.
Who owns the knowledge entered into DebriefCore?
Your organization owns its submitted and approved knowledge records.
Can we export or delete our data?
Self-serve data export is on the roadmap; today, export and deletion are handled on request, in line with our Terms and Privacy Policy. DebriefCore is built around customer data ownership.
Do you use our data to train AI models?
Your data is not used to train public AI models. AI use is limited to generating drafts and workflow outputs for your own organization.
Getting started, demos & common questions
How fast can we get started?
Most teams start by choosing a plan, creating an account, and capturing their first debrief. Larger organizations may benefit from a short walkthrough or onboarding session.
Do you offer demos, and what happens during one?
Yes — book a 15-minute demo. It usually covers the capture workflow, AI draft generation, the review and approval process, the knowledge base, context packs, pricing, and fit for your team.
What makes DebriefCore different?
It's built around human judgment. It never treats AI output as final — it creates a structured path from real-world experience to reviewed, reusable knowledge.
Why pay for this instead of using Word docs, SharePoint, or Google Drive?
Those store files — which scatter, go stale, and are hard to review. DebriefCore is a workflow: capture (including 30 seconds of voice), AI-assisted drafting, human review and approval, and a searchable knowledge base your team actually reuses.
Why not just record meetings?
Recordings are hard to search and rarely become operational knowledge. DebriefCore turns lessons into structured, approved records that can be found and reused on the next job.
What if our team doesn't trust AI?
That's exactly why DebriefCore uses human review. AI helps prepare drafts, but your people decide what is accurate and approved — nothing unverified becomes official.
What if an employee enters bad information?
It stays in draft/review status until it's corrected or rejected. The review step is designed to keep unverified knowledge out of the approved base.
What if our senior people don't like typing?
DebriefCore supports voice capture, so experienced workers can simply explain what happened — about 30 seconds of speech — instead of filling out a form.
