Solution

AI Drafts Are Not Policy. Human Approval Is What Makes Them Trustworthy.

Human-approved AI is a workflow discipline: AI generates structured knowledge drafts, qualified humans review and approve, and only approved knowledge reaches your organization's operational memory.

01Why raw AI output cannot be treated as policy

AI outputs that look credible can be embedded as policy without anyone noticing.

AI systems generate outputs that look credible. They cite with apparent authority, write clearly, and rarely flag their own uncertainty. Without a review gate, raw AI output can become embedded in organizational practice without anyone consciously choosing to trust it.

AI hallucinations that pass as facts

A confident-sounding AI response is indistinguishable from a grounded one unless there is a human review gate between generation and organizational deployment.

No accountability for AI-generated content

Without human approval, no one is responsible for an AI-generated knowledge record. When it turns out to be wrong, there is no reviewable decision point to examine.

No way to know if the output was ever reviewed

Without an approval audit trail, you cannot demonstrate to an auditor or a regulator that AI-generated content was reviewed by a qualified person before being acted on.

02How DebriefCore enforces human approval

No path from AI generation to approved knowledge that bypasses a human.

Draft state

Every Nova output starts as a draft — visible to reviewers in the Review Center but not accessible to the knowledge base, not searchable by Nova, not included in governance evidence.

Review Center

One place for all drafts awaiting review. Reviewers can read, edit, comment, and escalate — before making the explicit approval decision.

Explicit approval

A qualified reviewer must explicitly approve each draft. There is no auto-approval path, no time-based default approval, and no bulk approval without reading.

Approval audit trail

Approval is logged with reviewer identity, timestamp, and any edits made. The audit trail is written server-side and cannot be modified through the application UI.

Approved knowledge only

Nova Boardroom answers only from approved records. Drafts, pending-review articles, and unapproved content are never surfaced as organizational fact.

03FAQ

Questions about human-approved AI.

Can Nova auto-approve knowledge?

No. Auto-approval does not exist in DebriefCore. Every piece of knowledge that reaches the approved state was explicitly approved by a human reviewer.

Who can be a reviewer?

Any organization member with the reviewer role. Owners and admins can also review and approve.

What happens if no one reviews a draft?

It stays in draft state indefinitely. It does not appear in the knowledge base, Nova will not answer from it, and it will not be included in governance evidence.
